COMMUNITY ORGANISING
we exist
2020 - 2022
i’ve been on the organising committee of trans grassroots organisation We Exist since 2020. my involvement has ranged from organising a hardship fund for over 50 people to get financial support towards gender-affirming medical care, to arranging a partnership with sk:n providing laser hair removal to ten London-based trans women.

in 2020 i was part of a committe which fundraised over £90000 for LGBTQ+ people of colour in the UK whose income was affected by the pandemic. We redistributed funds to over 300 individuals and 10 grassroots organisations.
decolonise fest
2017 - 2020
i was one of the first organisers of decolonise fest, the first uk-based diy festival by and for punx of colour. my involvement ranged from festival curation, to managing finances, to coordinating volunteers to venue logistics.
